Do you believe in a spiritual existence?

Jesus was having a conversation with a woman who had a history of failed relationships.  They talked about spiritual beliefs and Jesus told her "God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."   Jesus answering a question from a religious leader also said, "Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven."

If you do believe in a spiritual existence and life, then would you agree that this spiritual realm of life exists completely without any power or need of definition from you?  This spiritual world existed before you were born, so what reasoning would allow you to decide, based on your feelings and opinions, the realities of this spiritual existence for all mankind and the universe? 

Since you believe we are eternal spiritual beings and an infinite spiritual world exists, it's honestly foolish to think you have the power to determine it's realities.  Then how do you as an individual discover the realities of this important aspect of our existence that is eternal in nature? 

Many different religious and spiritual figures throughout human history have proclaimed to have had powerful and enlightening spiritual experiences.  Many have proclaimed that their experiences and revelations were the truth concerning the spiritual world.  So how do you decide, "Is this true?",  "Did this alleged spiritual event and experience truly happen?", "What spiritual history and teaching do I trust my eternal spiritual life to?"

It's untrue that all the major world religions teach the same thing about God and how to relate to God, check it out.  Are you trusting your spiritual eternity based upon a "truth" or belief that you have created yourself?  Are you possibly drawing bits and pieces from various religions and then disregarding the contradictions of teachings from the various religions? 

I challenge and encourage you to examine the teachings and life of Jesus.  Jesus is the only person to claim that he was actually the person of God, the Spirit of God, living and teaching us in human form.  Find a copy of the Christian Scriptures and begin reading the writings of John, a co-worker of Jesus.  If you would like us to send you a free copy of these Scriptures in a modern understandable version, contact us at info@tribeofjesus.org   Also, please contact us with any questions you have.
