A proposal has been submitted
to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for the PCRE class to be offered
in 2009.
Why should I take this
course?
Answer The Following Questions:
How many non-Christians friends do you hang out with on a regular basis?
What would you say to someone
who said, "Why would I follow a God who uses genocide?"
How does formula faith or "the four spiritual laws" approach to
evangelism relate to what Jesus did and taught?
Is Jesus seeking after
someone's decision or is He looking for disciples?
If the way of "doing church" today is correct than why is Christianity
the last option a person will consider in their spiritual search?
How would you respond to a Christian who says,
"I use drugs to get closer to God" or
"I used to be a Christian, but now I have
questions."
Can you explain to someone how to become a Christian without using an
outline or formula, sharing instead a story about something Jesus said
or did?
If the statements above
interest you, if you would like to learn how to have a "real
conversation" with someone about their spiritual beliefs, if you want to
know how authentic relationships can guide a friend to Christ; If so
then this class would be great for you! Also, you might enjoy camping
and hiking in the Pecos Wilderness Area or Big Bend National Park!!
Course Description

understanding of the Biblical template for relational evangelism and how
that is expressed within our postChristian culture. Discussion of how

and evangelism. An introduction to postChristian conversation skills
needed to share the message of Christ to the unchurched, dechurched, and
wounded Christians in our community.
After the course is
approved specific dates, locations, a syllabus and other important
