					the gathering - The first people who knew Jesus got together to talk about his teachings and how it was affecting their day to day lives.  We do the same.  As the early followers did, we strive to form a community sharing our lives and how God is involved in our lives.
		what to expect: the gathering will have some direction, but will be very fluid, going where the group wants it to. Some basic elements of the gathering will be: a) just informally chat about our week and what's going on in our life  b) a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, & quiet meditation with the Spirit of God  c) needed discussion on how to meet specific needs for those at the gathering or other friends we know d) open ended discussion on a spiritual topic or interest that relates to our life, using the historical writings of the first Christ Followers as our guide.
