This Week's Gathering			DIRECTIONS
	what to expect: the gathering will have some direction, but will be very fluid, going where the group wants it to. Some basic elements of the gathering will be: a) just informally chat about our week and what's going on in our life  b) a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, & quiet meditation with the Spirit of God  c) needed discussion on how to meet specific needs for those at the gathering or other friends we know d) open ended discussion on a spiritual topic or interest that relates to our life, using the historical writings of the first Christ Followers as our guide.
	the gathering - The first people who knew Jesus got together to talk about his teachings and how it was affecting their day to day lives.  We do the same.  As the early followers did, we strive to form a community sharing our lives and how God is involved in our lives. DIRECTIONS
DIRECTIONS: LOCATION: Grant Avenue Community Center  216 S. Grant Ave.  Denver 80209 From the I-25 you can take the 6th Ave Freeway exit 209A. From the 6th Ave Exit Go East, Turn Right on Broadway, Turn Left on Cedar, Church will be on the Right, corner of Grant and Cedar.   From Alameda Ave; Turn  North onto Grant Street, the Church will be on the Right, corner of Grant and Cedar.   PARKING: There is a parking lot on the south side of the church.  Look for the door entrance and the Tribe of Jesus sign. INSIDE: Enter the south entrance door; Go up a small flight of stairs; Look for the Tribe signs; Walk straight down the hall; the last room on the Right is Parlor Room 1; that's us!!
